Ballet Beautiful provides every princes with an opportunity to express herself in dance. 

​

 With wholesome development in mind, our classes are designed to stimulate Cognitive-, motor- and effective development combined with Proprioception skill development, musical sense, listening skills, confidence and sociability.

Ballet Beautiful uses a fusion of the Dance Curriculum provided by Living Dance International (LDI) & Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). Our Primary focus is on the Curriculum of Living Dance International with RAD being supplementary  

 

Classes and Fees

Classes:

​

Classes are presented during school terms as provided by the Department of Education.

A term consists of at least 8 – 20 Ballet classes.

 

Classes are presented in 8 levels:

 

3 year old   -   DTYOT 1 -  Dance To Your Own Tune 1 (Living Dance & RAD)

4 year old   -   DTYOT 2 - Dance To Your Own Tune 2 (Living Dance & RAD)

5 year old   -   TT1 -           Tiny Tots 1 (Living Dance & RAD)

6 Year old  –   Pre- Primary (Living Dance)

 

7 Year old   –         Primary (Living Dance)

8 & 9 Year old   –  Grade 1 (Living Dance)

10 & 11 Year old –  Grade 2 (Living Dance)

12 & 13 Year old – Grade 3 (Living Dance)

EXAMINATIONS:

​

All students at Ballet Beautiful will automatically be invoiced for the ballet exam. Exams are not compulsory but an advantage.

 

DEMONSTRATION EXAM:  DTYOT 1 (3 YEARS), DTYOT 2 (4 YEARS) & TT1 (5 YEARS):

 

The Demo Exam serves a multi-purpose function.  Its aim is to provide an environment where little ballerinas are able to perform on stage in front of their parents whilst cultivating an examination mentality.  Ballet Beautiful aims to emphasize every detail in the preparation for the exam.  This entails costumes, hair accessories and décor.  At Ballet Beautiful we believe that hard work is to be rewarded.  The end result that parents see on stage is a reflection of the curriculum that we teach.  The mastery of this curriculum is a high achievement and we reward this achievement by giving each dancer a certificate and medal at the end of their examination.

INTERNATIONAL EXAMS: Pre- Primary, Primary, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3 (6-13 YEARS):

 

All dancers will have the opportunity to take part in the Living Dance International annual ballet exam. 
 

• 6 & 7 year old dancers are evaluated as a group. Parents cannot view this examination. Close Exam
